Z -- MODIFY AIR CONDITIONING SYSTEM IN BUILDING 406 AT THE NAVAL AIR STATION, FALLON, NEVADA SOL N62474-99-R-2024 DUE 090199 POC Martha Neel, Contracting Officer, 775-426-2918 E-MAIL: Officer in Charge of Construction, mneel@efawest.navfac.navy.mil. This is an Electronic Bid Solicitation. The work includes the furnishing of all labor, material and equipment required to provide new air cooled chiller with all associated piping, control, and electrical in Building 406. Installation of the new chiller and piping will require trenching and backfill of the site for installation of the chilled water piping, providing a concrete pad and related site work for the new chiller and miscellaneous cutting and patching of the slab, wall and partitions and incidental related work. The contract duration is approximately 150 days and the estimated cost range of this project is between $100,000 and $250, 000. Site visits may be arranged by calling Lieutenant Matt Bryner at 775-426-2665 or Mr. Truman Casey at 775-426-2924 at least 3 days in advance of the requested visit. The proposed procurement shall be issued for a Firm Fixed-Price Construction Contract. This procurement is unrestricted and all qualified, responsible sources may submit an offer, which shall be considered by this agency. The Government intends to award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose proposal represent the best value after evaluation in accordance with the factors in the solicitation. The evaluation factors are as follows: (1) Past Performance; (2) Price. All potential offerors are reminded, in accordance with DFARS 252.204-7004, REQUIRED CENTRAL CONTRACTOR REGISTRATION (MAR 1998), lack of registration in the CCR database will make an offeror ineligible for award. In accordance with FAR 5.102 (a) (7) availability of the solicitation will be limited to the electronic medium; solicitation will be available for download free of charge via the Internet World Wide Web at http://www.efdsw.navfac.navy.mil/Pages/EBS.htm. Hard copies (paper sets) or CD-ROM of solicitation will not be provided by the Government. The official planholders list will be maintained on and can be printed from the website. All prospective offerors and plan rooms are encouraged to register as plan holders on the website. Plan holders lists will not be faxed and will only be available from the website. Registering offerors and plan rooms must provide a complete name, complete mailing address and area code and phone number, offeror type (prime contractor, sub-contractor, supplier or plan room), and email address. Notification of any changes (amendments) to the solicitation will be made only on the Internet. It will be the contractor's responsibility to check the website for any posted changes/amendments.
