AT STATION YAQUINA BAY, NEWPORT, OR.: Furnish all labor, materials, and
equipment necessary to remove the existing wood floating dock at
Station Yaquina Bay and replace it with a new concrete floating dock
including pile, pile guides, cleats, and bumpers. In addition, remove
and replace piles and pile guides for the existing two concrete
floating docks. The work includes, but is not limited to, the
following: A) Remove and dispose of the 54' x 8' wood floating dock at
station Yaquina Bay. Remove all four (4) 12-inch diameter steel pipe
piles and pile guides. B) Furnish and install four (4) new 18 inch
steel pipe piles, pile guides, and associated pile bracing. Replace the
dock with a concrete floating dock including cleats, walers, bumpers,
and pile guides. C) Remove and dispose of the existing eight (8)
12-inch diameter steel pipe piles and pile guides for the existing two
(2) concrete floating docks. D) Furnish and install 18-inch diameter
steel pipe piles, pile guides, and associated pile bracing.Drawings and

non-refundable fee for plans and specifications. PLANHOLDERS LISTS WILL
BE AVAILABLE FROM EAST BAY BLUE PRINT AND SUPPLY BY FAXING YOUR REQUEST
TO (510) 261-6077. PLANS ARE NOT AVAILABLE FROM THE COAST GUARD OFFICE.
Estimated Range is $100,000 to $250,000. The performance period is 60
calendar days after receipts of Notice to Proceed. The procurement is
subject to the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program and
is open to large and small business participation. The applicable SIC
code is 1629. Small business size standard is $17.0 million. This is an
unrestricted acquisition being solicited. All responsible sources are
encouraged to respond. For minority, women, and disadvantaged business
enterprises: The Department of Transportation (DOT Officeof Small and
Disadvantage Business Utilization) has programs to assist minority,
women owned and disadvantaged business enterprises to acquire
short-term working capital and bonding assistance for
transportation-related contracts. Loans are available under the DOT
Short Term Lending Program (STLP) at prime interest rates up to
$500,000 per contract to provide accounts receivable financing. The
Bonding Assistance Program enables firms to apply for bid, performance
and payment bonds up to $500,000. DOT provides an 80% guaranty on the
bond amount to a surety against losses. For further information and
