All dredged material will be placed in the designated ocean disposal area located approximately 10 miles from the project site. This project will consists of four Alternate Bids as follows: Alternate Bid 1; Entrance Channel will be dredged to 42 feet plus 1 foot allowable overdepth, Turning Basin will be dredged to 42 feet required depth plus 2 feet allowable overdepth, Destroyer Slip East will be dredged to 35 feet required depth plus 2 feet allowable overdepth, Carrier Basin will be dredged to 50 feet required depth plus 2 feet allowable overdepth, Pier C-2 will be dredged to 50 feet required depth plus 2 feet allowable overdepth. Total quantity to be dredged is approximately 1,324,000 cubic yards. Alternate Bid 2; Entrance Channel will be dredged to 41 feet required depth plus 1 foot allowable overdepth, Turning Basin will be dredged to 42 feet required depth plus 2 feet allowable overdepth, Destroyer Slip East will be dredged to 35 feet required depth plus 2 feet allowable overdepth, Carrier Basin will be dredged to 50 feet required depth plus 2 feet allowable overdepth, Pier C-2 will be dredged to 50 feet required depth plus 2 feet allowable overdepth. Total quantity to be dredged is approximately 1,275,000 cubic yards. Alternate Bid 3; Entrance Channel will be dredged to 41 feet required depth plus 1 foot allowable overdepth, Turning Basin will be dredged to 42 feet required depth plus 2 feet allowable overdepth, Destroyer Slip East will be dredged to 35 feet required feet plus 2 feet allowable overdepth, Carrier Basin will be dredged to 48 feet required depth plus 2 feet allowable overdepth, Pier C-2 will be dredged to 50 feet required depth plus 2 feet allowable overdepth. Total quantity to be dredged is approximately 1,244,000 cubic yards.
