16 -- ASYMMETRY SENSOR TEST SETS SOL N68335-99-G-0156/03 DUE 081699 POC Mrs. Darla M. Kelly (732) 323-7437 Fax (732) 323-4069 The Government intends to procure on a non-competitive basis from Northrop Grumman 12 Asymmetry Sensor Test Sets (ASTS) (part number A55S20400-1) designed specifically to test the Flap and Slat Asymmetry Sensors on the F-14 aircraft, for which the Government does not own complete technical specifications or drawings to permit full and open competition. The Government intends to procure these ASTS under the authority of 10 USC 2304(c)(1), as implemented by FAR 6.302-1. Northrop Grumman Corporation as the sole developer of the ASTS and is the only known source with the knowledge, experience and technical data necessary. Firms that recognize and support the ASTS for the F-14 Aircraft are encouraged to identify themselves. The Government intends to procure these under Basic Ordering Agreement N68335-99-G-0156. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which may be considered by the government in determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
