Dunn, Contract Specialist, (202) 324-5790 The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) intends to award a sole source, indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity (ID/IQ) fixed price contract for one (1) base year plus four (4) additional option years to Reuters NewMedia, Inc., 1750 Presidents Street, Suite 250, Reston, VA 20190-5618, to provide on-line database news media information retrieval services to FBI Headquarters. This service integrates worldwide news media including press, television, and radio, to provide regularly updated 24-hour coverage, about 600 stories a day, of events from around the globe. Reuters will supplement existing FBI wire service feeds and ensure the most comprehensive global coverage of news events is available to the Bureau. The requirement consists of the following: (1) 23 each Reuters World Service feed. Based on market research conducted, it has been determined that Reuters is the only source that fully meets the FBI's requirement. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals received within (15) calendar days after date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. This contract will be awarded as a commercial item under the Simplified Acquisition Procedures authorized by the Test Program. The Standard Industrial Classification Code (SIC) is 7383, and the size standard is $5 million dollars. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability by submitting a proposal to include technical capabilities, pricing, and any other information which shows an ability to meet this requirement.
