The USAFE Contracting Squadron intends to solicit proposals for a follow-on contract for Facilities Engineering Services for the Kaiserslautern Army Military Community. Functional areas include Operation, Maintenance, Repair and Minor Construction of Real Property, Maintenance and Repair of Installed Building Equipment (IBE) and Equipment-In-Place (EIP). The period of performance for the Facilities Engineering Services Contract is for a three month phase-in period and one basic year starting 01 Oct 00 with four one-year options. A Fixed Price Incentive (Firm Target) with Cost plus Award Fee CLINS Contract is anticipated. This procurement will have no restrictions as to the prime contractor being an American firm or to small businesses. Copies of the Draft Solicitation and the Final RFP will be available through the Electronic Posting System (EPS) http://www.eps.gov/. Draft solicitation documentation will be released on this site, as it becomes available. The Final RFP will be available on or about 01 Oct 99. NO PAPER COPIES WILL BE ISSUED.
