CAMP RENTAL AND SERVICES FOR THE SAGWON AIRFIELD CLEANUP The Bureau of Land Management, Northern Field Office will be issuing a Non Competitive Procurement for a 20 man camp located at the Sagwon Airfield 70 miles south of Prudhoe Bay, Alaska. This is a contribution project with Alaska Department of Environmental Conservation, Alaska Department of Natural Resources, Alaska Department of Fish and Game, Environmental Protection Agency, Aleyska, and British Petroleum-Exploration and the State of Alaska. This is a combined effort and the camp is already in place with permits, water, food, cook, cleaning, and a manager. The original camp was put out for competitive bid and Taiga Ventures was low bidder last year. The camp has remained in place and the other joint entities have been using them. For BLM in kind support it would be to the best interest of the Government to continue using Taiga Ventures. This project is expected to last seven weeks, before winter shut-down.
