S -- - NOTICE OF INTENT TO NEGOTIATE A SOLE SOURCE CONTRACT WITH SEIMAC LTD. Notice of intent to negotiate a sole source contract with Seimac Ltd. for the Pacific Marine Environmental Lab (PMEL). Seimac has developed a polar weather station which is a key part of an existing PMEL scientific array. New system must be compatible with existing equipment. The new weather station is required by 10/1/99 to meet cruise deadline. Since PMEL has standardized on Seimac weather station, no other sources can be considered for the new weather station.
