The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division (NAWCAD) Patuxent River, MD intends to issue a Basic Ordering Agreement (BOA) for the duration of three years with Rockwell Collins Inc. Government Systems (RCGS), 400 Collins Road, Cedar Rapids, IA 52498 to provide all prime items of the AN/ARC-182(V) radio. These items include, but are not limited to: RT-1250A/ARC, RT-1324A/ARC, RT-1360A/ARC, RT-1498/ARC, RT-1629/ARC, C-10319A/ARC, C-10319B/ARC, C-10320/ARC, C-10776A/ARC, C-10776B/ARC, C-11131B/ARC, C-11628/ARC, C-12108/ARC, C-12109/ARC, C-12109A/ARC, C-12110/ARC, SA-2498/ARC, AM-7177A/ARC, F-1556B/ARC, MT-4934/ARC, MT-6330A/ARC, 991S-1, 515F-1, ARC-182 Have-Quick II Kit, 379F-14, and 628U-14 Receiver Transmitter. This acquisition is being pursued on a sole source basis under the statutory authority 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1), as implemented by Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. RCGS is the sole designer, developer and currently the only qualified manufacturer of the AN/ARC-182(V) Radio Transmitter, Controllers and Mounts and as such has the requisite knowledge to fulfill the requirement. It is anticipated that firm fixed priced orders will be awarded under this BOA using the procedures in FAR Part 15 and, if appropriate for the acquisition, FAR Part 12. Deliveries will be made to various locations throughout the continental United States as well as to FMS customers. Delivery will be required to begin twelve months from the date of award of an order. While this notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals, interested parties may identify their interest and technical capability to respond to this requirement and may submit information by or before 12 August 1999 which shall be considered by the NAWCAD.
