Warfare Center Division Newport, Newport, RI intends to solicit
proposals for the fabrication, assembly, and testing of first article
and production TR-233( ) High Frequency ACOMMS Transducers. Three (3)
each First Article TR-233( ) transducers are required. The Government
has an Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (ID/IQ) requirement for
a minimum of 25 each to a maximum of 33 each TR-233( ) transducers in
the first production year. Second, third, fourth and fifth year
production estimated quantities will be up to a maximum of 80 each
TR-233() transducers. Best value award methodology will be employed
with evaluation factors including Technical Capability and Cost.
Technical Capability factors will include Technical Approach, Past
Performance, and Management Approach. The proposed acquisition is
unrestricted. A drawing package for the previous version, TR-233B
transducer, excluding the TR-233B Critical Item Product Specification
(CIPS), is available on CD-ROM for the cost of $280. The TR-233B
drawings are being provided for informational purposes only. The
government does not possess validated production drawings for the
TR-233( ) transducer. Accordingly, the government does not warrant any
of this data and a "build to print" approach does not constitute an
adequate technical response. The TR-233( ) CIPS is classified as a
confidential document and will be provided upon request. To obtain a
