Joan Miles (301) 227-1159 The purpose of the proposed acquisition is for materials and services to conduct underwater explosion testing The task areas are as follows: (1) Heavyweight Shock Qualification Testing, (2) Medium Weight, Light Weight, and Vibration Qualification Tests, (3) Miscellaneous UNDEX Projects, and (4) Sample Tasks with a period of peformance from the effective date of contract through five (5) years thereafter. The estimated manhours per year is 22,500. The soliciation shall be issued on or about 30 September with a closing date of approximately 30 days thereafter.
