Federal Highway Administration has a requirement for a study to
evaluate the results of High Performance Concrete (HPC) Bridge
Projects. It is anticipated that work under the resulting contract will
include: (1) Collection and compilation of concrete mixture,
properties, research, fabrication, construction, and live load test
information and specifications from each of the joint State-FHWA HPC
bridge projects to date; (2) Analysis and evaluation of compiled
information with existing AASHTO specifications and guidelines;
(3)Development of recommended equations, specifications, and guidelines
for material and structural properties for use in the AASHTO Standard
Specifications for Highway Bridges, the AASHTO LRFD Bridge Design
Specifications, and the AASHTO Materials Specifications; and
recommendations for additional research in this area. This Requirement
is 100-Percent Set-Aside for Small Business pursuant to S.I.C. code
8731. This solicitation, all related documents and amendments, if any,
will only be released and available electronically through the
Electronic Posting System (EPS) at http://www.eps.gov under the "EPS
for Vendors" option followed by selection of the "DOT" Center. As such,
no written, telephonic, facsimile or email requests for the
solicitation package will be accepted. Interested parties can register
at the aforementioned site to receive procurement announcements by
email. Since this solicitation will only be available electronically,
it is the responsibility of interested parties to monitor the EPS
website for any solicitation amendments. All responsible sources may
