The contractor shall provide all transportation, labor, tools, materials, and facilities necessary to clean, sandblast, prep and paint the following components of Aircraft Arresting System: (a) Rewind Engines; approximate size -- 10'L x 4'W x 6'H, 7,200 pounds each, (min/max 6/14 per year). (b) Mass Trailers; approximate size -- 20'L x 8'W x 8'H, 18,000 pounds each, (min/max 1/4 per year). Contractor will be responsible for picking up Rewind Engines and MASS Trailers at the CETSC in Minot, North Dakota, and deliver to same location upon completion of work. Proposed contract action will be a program year plus one option year. Requests for solicitaiton packages shall be in writing with the requesters business size stated on the request. This is a small business set aside, SIC code 7532. Solicitation packages will be available for release on/about 13 Aug 99 with an anticipated opening date of 13 Sep 99.
