The age of the equipment ranges from approximately 1 year to 15 years of age. The equipment may contain Motorola 6800 or 68000 family of microprocessors and internal component memory containing Microdyne proprietary programming. The equipment contains microwave and RF component types which include discreet, lumped element and thin film. The newer equipment contains surface mount components and multilayer PC boards. The ruggedized equipment must be restored to the original OEM performance parameters and level of ruggedization. The contract will be for a one year base period of performance and four one-year option periods.
