Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) is soliciting for closing agent services for the HUD Santa Ana Homeownership Center in California. The geographic areas are: Area 1 -- California counties of Orange, riverside, Imperial and San Diego, Area 2 -- California counties of Los Angeles (with the exception of the Antelope Valley area), Ventura, Santa Barbara and San Luis Obispo, Area 3 -- California counties of San Bernardino, Inyo, Mono, and Los Angeles' Antelope Valley area. This solicitation is for full and open competition, open to all interested parties including large businesses. The contractor(s) shall perform closing services consisting of but not limited to, ensuring that all properties assigned close within the time stipulated, processing and handling and and all loan documents the lender requires for a customary HUD closing, wire transfering the net proceeds and generally assisting home buyers in facilitating the closing.
