S -- SOLID WASTE DISPOSAL SOL RFQ 05-3K06-99 DUE 090199 POC Contact Darleen Masten, Contract Officer at (301) 504-1709 The USDA, ARS, intends to purchase services for the supply of approximately 93 dumpsters, and the collection and disposal of non-hazardous solid waste (trash) for the USDA, ARS, Beltsville Agricultural Research Center located in Beltsville, Maryland; the National Agricultural Library, located in Beltsville, Maryland; and the U.S. National Arboretum, located in Washington, D.C. Trash includes non-hazardous, cleaned autoclave waste, regular office waste, non-hazardous ash waste, and construction waste. The contract period of performance includes a base period from October 1, 1999, through September 30, 2000, and four 12-month option periods. This is a Commercial Item/Service acquisition. The anticipated award date is October 1, 1999. Procedures as specified in FAR Subpart 13.5, will be used in awarding any subsequent contract.
