McDaniel, Contracting Officer, (505) 846-8799 Furnish, install, and service-test a complete mix water tempering system at the DTRA concrete batch plant located at the northern range of White Sands Missile Range, Socorro County, NM. Work includes, but is not limited, to furnishing and installing the mechanical and electrical components of the mix water tempering system (to include constructing necessary concrete pads/skids), installing mix water tempering controls, and painting three cement silos, a liquid nitrogen tank, and a 6,000 gallon nitrogen cooling water tank. This agency intends to issue an Invitation for Bid (IFB) DTRA02-99-B-0052 on or about 20 Aug 99. Responses will be due approximiately 30 days thereafter. The magnitude of this project is between $100,000.00 and $250,000.00. The Standard Industrial Classifiction (SIC) code for this requriement is 1711 with a size standard of $7.0M.
