Lutz VA Medical Center, Saginaw, Michigan is soliciting for the services of a construction firm to provide all labor, materials, tools, and equipment necessary to Replace Sewer Lines. Work includes replacing existing sewer lines serving Building No.1. The first sewer line begins at a point 5 feet above the floor and runs under the basement floor 120 feet and out to an existing sewer manhole approximately 160 feet from the exterior building wall. The second run starts at a point two feet outside the building wall and runs 84 feet to an existing manhole. Work includes floor tile and concrete floor removal, drywall removal, sewer line demolition, concrete loading dock slab removal, asphalt pavement removal, excavation, replacement of sewer line, backfilling and compaction, replacement of concrete floor and floor tile, replacement of drywall, replacement of concrete loading dock slab, replacement of asphalt pavement, restoration of landscaping and certain other items. COMPLETION TIME for this project is 60 claendar days from the "Notice to Proceed." The cost range is estimated between $25,000 and $100,000.
