E-MAIL: DIRECTORATE OF CONTRACTING, nick.jenkins@edex.edwards.af.mil. Edwards AFB, CA has a requirement for a Filtered 270 VDC Power Supply at the existing Hoist Facility to support F-22 testing. The contractor is to provide, qualify, and install an EMI shielded 270 volt 300 amp (81 Kw) DC power supply with a 28 volt DC 10 amp interlock, a 150 foot shielded aircraft cable and 270 VDC filter conditioner. This shall be qualified and delivered as a single "turn key" system to the Government. The power supply shall be capable of operating in an RF test environment such that it does not radiate detectable RF into the test environment nor is its operation/functionality affected by radiated RF present in the test environment. The Lockheed Vehicle Simulation System (VSS) facility in Ft. Worth, TX is the only known source for testing to ensure compatibility, protection, and correct operation with the F-22 aircraft. Co ntractors are responsible to provide proof that their power supply units are tested and meet our requirements. The contractor shall also demonstrate the operabilityand functionality after installation at the Benefield Anechoic Facility (BAF) at Edwards AFB, CA. Qualifying/testing of the power supply system shall be the sole responsibility of the contractor. Costs associated with the qualification/testing shall be the sole responsibility of the contractor. The Government will award a contract resulting from the RFQ to the responsible offeror whose quotation conforming to the solicitation will be the most advantageous to the Government, past performance and price considered, past performance being more important than price.
