This project will consist of supplying and installing four (4) to five
(5) thermal imaging cameras or other similar cameras for viewing in
complete darkness. The outcome of this project must allow the trainers
to observe and hear all training within the parameters of the Night
Vision Goggle Trainer. Three (3) of the cameras (two wall mounted and
one part of a portable recording system) will have objective lenses
with a horizontal field of view (HFOV) of 18 degrees and the other two
cameras will have objective lenses of 36 degrees horizontal field of
view (HFOV). All cameras will provide standard video output that is VCR
and monitor compatible. The mounts for mounting the cameras to the
walls of the facility will be determined by the contractor but must be
approved by the Camp Gruber Contracting Officer Representative. The
mounting head will provide 360 degree rotation and 90 degree
bi-directional adjustment. The power supplies for the wall mounted
cameras will be 120VAC/12VDC type, or similar type, so that standard
120 VAC wall power can be used to power the cameras. Camp Gruber will
make available 120VAC at each camera location. The power supplies will
be provided by the contractor as part of the camera equipment for all
wall mounted cameras. The interconnecting video cable will be RG-59
type terminated with either RCA or BNC type connectors to match the
cameras and the monitor/VCR's to be provided. Interconnecting cables
from all cameras will be routed along the walls and secured in a
non-intrusive fashion with cable mounts from each camera to the
"Control Room" located in the southwest corner of the Night Vision
Goggle Trainer, Building 109. Montiors, VCR's and multiplexers will be
provided by the contractor. The surveillance system consisting of the
