99 -- SUPPLY AND INSTALL THERMAL IMAGING CAMERAS, CAMERA MOUNTS, CAMERA POWER SUPPLIES, INTERCONNECTING VIDEO CABLE, MONITORS, VCR'S AND MULTIPLEXERS. Porter, (405) 425-8272, MAJ Howard Schauer (918) 487-6047 This project will consist of supplying and installing four (4) to five (5) thermal imaging cameras or other similar cameras for viewing in complete darkness. The outcome of this project must allow the trainers to observe and hear all training within the parameters of the Night Vision Goggle Trainer. Three (3) of the cameras (two wall mounted and one part of a portable recording system) will have objective lenses with a horizontal field of view (HFOV) of 18 degrees and the other two cameras will have objective lenses of 36 degrees horizontal field of view (HFOV). All cameras will provide standard video output that is VCR and monitor compatible. The mounts for mounting the cameras to the walls of the facility will be determined by the contractor but must be approved by the Camp Gruber Contracting Officer Representative. The mounting head will provide 360 degree rotation and 90 degree bi-directional adjustment. The power supplies for the wall mounted cameras will be 120VAC/12VDC type, or similar type, so that standard 120 VAC wall power can be used to power the cameras. Camp Gruber will make available 120VAC at each camera location. The power supplies will be provided by the contractor as part of the camera equipment for all wall mounted cameras. The interconnecting video cable will be RG-59 type terminated with either RCA or BNC type connectors to match the cameras and the monitor/VCR's to be provided. Interconnecting cables from all cameras will be routed along the walls and secured in a non-intrusive fashion with cable mounts from each camera to the "Control Room" located in the southwest corner of the Night Vision Goggle Trainer, Building 109. Montiors, VCR's and multiplexers will be provided by the contractor. The surveillance system consisting of the wall mounted cameras, camera power supplies and interconnecting cable assemblies will be tested for proper performance. The test will consist of testing the video signal being delivered to the Control Room in the NVG, building 109, and verifying that this signal will deliver a satisfactory video image to a test monitor in the Control Room.
