Georgia intends to solicit and negotiate with only one (1) source
under the authority of FAR 6.302-1 for obtaining an economic evaluation
of a teleradiology system in VISN 7 to determine the most
cost-effective method of providing radiology services to the veteran
patient population within VISN 7 Network. This Notice of Intent is NOT
a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals received
within 15 days after publication of this synopsis will be considered by
the Government. Interested parties may identify their interest and
capability by submitting proposals, detailing how their facility will
proceed with evaluation and qualifications of personnel involved, to
the Contracting Officer or by fax to 706-731-7172. A determination by
the Government not to compete this proposed contract based on responses
to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. VAMC
Augusta intends to negotiate with the Kerr L. White Institute for
Health Services Research, 101 W. Ponce de Leon Avenue, Suite 610,
