This procurement shall be processed in accordance with the Simplified Acquisition Procedures of Part 13 of the Federal Acquisitions Regulations. The purpose of this purchase order is to prepare a prospectus for the reduction of child and adolescent mortality and morbidity caused by severe illness or trauma, and ensure that pediatric service is well integrated into the Emergency Medical Services (EMS) System. The contractor shall prepare position papers which specifically detail the types of services recommended by a consensus panel, to improve and expand pediatric emergency training programs for health professionals, therefore increasing proficiency in pediatric emergency care. The period of performance for this project is one (1) year. American Psychological Association is deemed the only responsible source capable ofproviding required work and services.
