The AMC Contracting Flight is in the process of conducting a command-wide A-76 Cost Comparison Study (CCS) of specific personnel and training functions, namely Educational Services, Military Formal Training, Military On-the-Job Training, Civilian Training, Computer Systems Support, Awards and Decorations, and Military Personnel Records currently being performed by Government personnel at the following geographic locations: Scott AFB, IL; McGuire AFB, NJ; McConnell AFB, KS; Grand Forks AFB, ND; Dover AFB, DE; Charleston AFB, SC; Pope AFB, NC; Travis AFB, CA; McChord AFB, WA; MacDill AFB, FL; Andrews AFB, MD; and Fairchild AFB, WA. The Government is soliciting capability statements from interested sources who are capable of performing the personnel and training functions classified under SIC Code 8744 (Size Standard $20M). At a minimum the support required shall include all personnel, equipment, tools, materials, supervision, and otheritems and services necessary to perform the personnel and training functions over potentially a 5 year contract period. The description of the aforementioned services is not meant to be all-inclusive, but only meant to convey a reasonable idea of the types of services that will be included in this CCS. Request interested offerors capable of performing these functions submit the following information on or before 23 Aug 99. A brief description of their company including business size (large, small, small disadvantaged, 8(a), or women owned business concern), history, and a description of primary services provided to either the government or commercial customers, as well as the Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) code(s) for the supplies/services. Further provide the company point of contact, address (including ZIP PLUS FOUR), telephone number, fax number, and E-mail address. List no more than the five of the company's most recent and relevant examples of past and present information relating to similar services provided to either government and/or commercial customers. Include contract number, place and performance, point of contact, and telephone number along with the dollar value. Also, provide a brief narrative of the functions performed. Page limit for the entire capability statement is 10 pages or less. Marketing literature shall not be included!!! All responses must be submitted electronically to Gary.Steinkamp@scott.af.mil. Oral presentations by interested parties will not be entertained or accepted at this time. Publication of this synopsis does not constitute one of the three synopsis issuances required by OMB Circular A-76.
