The North Cascades National Park Service Complex will award a firm fixed price contract for the transport and disposal of solid waste from the Lake Chelan National Recreation Area, Stehekin District, located in Stehekin, Washington. The National Park Service will collect and compact the solid waste so it is ready for pick-up and transport by the Contractor. The Contractor is required to pick-up all solid waste from the NPS compaction site and transport by barge down a 50-mile lake and deliver to the North Chelan-Douglas transfer station or other approved recycling centers for processing. The Standard Industrial Code is 4212, "Garbage and Refuse, Collecting and Transporting, Without Disposal". This solicitation is issued pursuant to the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program and is open to all size businesses.
