Postal Service is soliciting proposals to construct a new Carrier Annex of approximately 24,000 square feet on a 6.3 acre site in Lake Zurich, IL 60047. This work includes all materials, equipment, superintendence, and all other services to complete the construction. The U. S. Postal Service intends to award a contract, subject to the approval and funding, to the responsible offeror whose proposal, conforming to the solicitation, will be the most advantageous. Minority-owned and Women-owned business participation is encouraged. Construction cost range is $2,000,000 to $2,500,000. Construction completion time will be three hundred (300) days from the date of Notice to Proceed. Evaluation criteria in addition to price have been specified: 1) General Experience, 2) Minority and Subcontracting Plan, and 3)References.
