16 -- 20 FOOT STATIC LINE AND DEPLOYMENT BAG ASSEMBLY SOL DAAD16-99-R-1023 POC Elaine Scarnici, Contract Specialist The US Army Material Command Acquisition Center, Natick Contracting Division, has a requirement for a 20-Foot Static Line Assembly, consisting of a Deployment Bag (D-Bag) and Static Line Assembly. The D-Bag (18 x 12 x 5 inches) is constructed of 8.8-ounce cotton sateen cloth. The static line Type VIII Nylon with a fluorocarbon finish is permanently attached to the D-Bag, and is 20 feet long, with a tensile strength of 4,000 pounds. The Government anticipates that this acquisition, utilizing the best value concept, will result in a firm fixed price Requirements Contract with one (1) option year. The basic ordering period will be 6 months for a total quantity of 6000 to be delivered in increments of 1000 a month. The option will be for a total quantity of 12,000 to be delivered at increments of 1000 a month. This acquisition will be restricted to the approved sources on the Qualified Product Line (QPL) 6645. Other interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirementor submit proposals, but will not be considered for this procurement.
