Solicitation is a standing solicitation, and is a complete refreshed version of all previous solicitations for Federal Supply Schedule 42, Part I, Section B, from which the Government contemplates award of contracts for supplies listed in the Schedule of Items covering 22 Special Item Numbers (SIN). This solicitation will remain in effect unless amended and/or replaced by an updated solicitation. Multiple Award Schedule solicitations are "standing" opportunities for new offers. There is no closing date for receipt of offers; therefore, offers may be submitted for consideration at any time during the life of this solicitation. The Federal Supply Schedule period is continuous, and will contain contracts with periods that commence on the date of award (DOA) and expire five years (exclusive of any options) from the DOA unless further extended pursuant to any Option to Extend the Term of the Contract, or canceled sooner. Offers will be accepted for brands identical to those currently awarded. All contracts will be indefinite delivery -- indefinite quantity contracts with $100 guaranteed minimum for the contract period. 4 new SINs are added to this solicitation: 465-15,Wetting Agent; 465-50, Shipping Boxes & Fuel Containers for Fire Related Products; 567-50, Fire Shelters & Components inclusive of Practice Fire Shelters; and 567-55, Firefighting Hand Tools & Accessories (includes but not limited to Files, Pulaski tool, Combi tool, Axes, Rakes, Shovels & Handles). 5 SINs are expanded: 465-17 is renamed, "Firefighting Distress & Signaling Devices" (includes but not limited to PASS, Fusees & related devices for emergency application; SIN 465-21 is renamed,"Fire Extinguishers" (includes but not limited to automatic fire extinguishers for residential stoves & excludes all Halon fire extinguishing devices); 567-2 includes Float Pumps, High Volume Pumps and Retardant, Foam & Hand Pumps; 567-4 is renamed "Firefighting/Rescue Helicopter Accessories" for the transport & delivery of firefighting agents/equipment by helicopter; AND, 567-15 is renamed Hoses, Valves, Fittings, Nozzles, Couplings & Related Accessories". Various clauses including Clause I-FSS-599, Electronic Commerce -- Federal Acquisition Network (FACNET), which implements GSA Advantage (GSA's On-Line Shopping Program) are included. Acceptance of the Government Purchase Card is mandatory for payments equal to or less than the micro-purchase threshold for oral or written delivery orders.
