This is a combined synposis/solicitation for commercial items or services prepared in accordance with format in FAR subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional informatin included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation and a written solicitatin will not be issued. This solicitation is issued for Request for Quotation (RFQ No. LCS/CFS-02118). The solicitation clause and provisions are those in effect through Federal Circular 97-06. The Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) Code for this acquisition is 3826. NIH/NIA Gerontology Research Center intends to purchase (1) one CardioVascular Profiling Instrument which must include: arterial pulse pressure sensor, sensor holding and positional device, wrist stabilizer, three upper arm blood pressure cuffs (sm,reg,lrg), blood pressure cuff hose, external ink-jet printer, parallel printer cable, and hospital grade main power cord. This instrument will provide investigators with a non-invasive means to access sysemic endothelial function/arterial elasticity in support of human research.
