This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation is issued as Request for Quotation (RFQ) No. F49642-00-QT005. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 97-12. This is a small business set aside. The standard industrial classification code is 7375 and the small business size standard is $18.0 Million. The 11th Contracting Squadron intends to procure, on a competitive basis, twelve-month subscriptions in the following data and software services for one USAF organization via Unisys Satellite Communications consisting of the following weather data: Item 0001: 7x24 hr/day telephone technical support for Sonalysts_ Wxstation system (12 months); Item 0002: Software upgrade services for Sonalysts_ Wxstation system (12 months); Item 0003: NWS Family of Services (Domestic Data Service, Public Product International Data Service, FAA-604 Service, and DiFax Weather Chart Service), Radar National Reflectivity, and NWS High Resolution GRIB (Gridded Data Service) (12 months); Item 0004: Unisys Communications Charge (12 months). Quotation must include name, address, telephone number, business size/type, CAGE code, tax ID number, and DUNS number, as well as type of small business (i.e., woman owned, minority owned, etc).
