This project is comprised of the following work: fabrication and installation of 180 lf (54.9 m) of concrete/geoweb trail pavement, 2551 lf (778 m) of 3/8" minus aggregate trail, 40 lf (12.2 m) of boardwalk trail, 20 lf (6.1 m) of treated timber bridge and associated bank protection, 178 lf (54.3 m) of rock underdrain, 14 lf (4.9 m) of 6" culvert. Work also includes clearing, grubbing, excavating, haul, disposal and endhaul of unsuitable and excess materials, embankment, and the supply of all materials required for the project. The work site is located on the Portage Glacier Road FH 35 at MP 4.2, approximately 50 air miles southeast of Anchorage, Alaska. The estimated start work date is early October 1999. The contract shall be completed by September 30, 2000. Estimated price range for the project is between $25,000 and $100,000.
