commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart
12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this
notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals
are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued.
This solicitation is being issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). The
solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those
in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 97-12 This
solicitation is a 100% for small business set-aside; the associated
Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) code is 3861 (Size: 500). The
Television-Audio Support Activity intends to procure the following
items: CLIN 0001; Contractor to provide two (2) each Phaseone
Lightphase system for Hasselbad (Phaseone p/n 71207); each system
includes one (1) high resolution digital camera back, one TG1 filter
for Hasselblad, one (1) 10m/33 inch long, flexible IEEE1394 cable, one
(1) carrying bag, one (1) protection plate, one (1) phaseone image
capture software, one (1) cleaning kit, one (1) manual and one (1)
quick start tutorial guide; contractor to provide two (2) each IEEE1394
PCI card (Phaseone p/n 70603); CLIN 0002; Contractor to provide 24 --
hour equipment replacement for two (2) years; CLIN 0003; Contractor to
provide installation at Fleet Imaging Command Pacific headquarters,
Bld. 251, Naval Air Station North Island, San Diego, CA.; CLIN 0004;
Contractor to provide two (2) day training for twenty (20) trainees at
Fleet Imaging Command Pacific Headquarters, Building 251, Naval Air
Station North Island, San Diego, CA.; CLIN 0005; Contractor to provide
training for five (5) trainees at Fleet Imaging Facility Pacific, 001
K Street, Naval Air Station Lemoore, Lemoore, CA.;CLIN 0006;
Contractor to repair and refurbish (when necessary) two (2) of the
customers existing model 500E/LM Hasselblad and lens systems (up to
$150.00 worth of repairs) or provide Hasselblad medium format bodies
until PhaseOne completes the design of a Bronica ETRSi camera solution
(due the 4th quarter 1999). Standard commercial warranty is required.
Date of delivery is 30 DAYS AFTER AWARD. Ship to Fleet Imaging Command
Pacific, Building 251, Naval Air Station North Island San Diego, CA
92135-7074. The Government anticipates negotiating and entering into a
contract on a sole source basis with PhaseOne or its authorized
dealers, 24 Woodbine Ave., Northport NY 11768 under the authority FAR
6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other supplies or services
will satisfy agency requirements. All responsible sources may submit
a quotation which shall be considered by the agency. Responses to this
notice should be provided in writing no later than 8/17/99 1530 PST.

To be eligible to receive an award resulting from this solicitation,
Contractor must be registered with the Central Contractor Registration
(CCR) database, NO EXCEPTIONS. To register, you may apply through the

Bradstreet (DUNS) number in order to apply. The evaluation criteria for
this solicitation will consist of technical capability of the item
offered to meet the agency need, price, and past performance. The

and 52.212-2, Evaluation-Commercial Items, apply to this acquisition.
