FISC San Diego is soliciting offers for just in time (JIT) vendor direct delivery of paint and paint supplies, including but not limited to; latex and oil paints and primers; aerosol paints; thinners; solvents; stains; tints; sealers; epoxy; laquers; shellac and paint accessories (brushes, roller covers, roller frames, trays, grids, and pads) and paint compounds (cement, plaster, caulking, sealant and joint compound). In addition to industrial types of paints, various types of aircraft and marine paints, primers and solvents will be required. The contract will require that the successful offeror accept back all open portions of paint at no cost to the Government. The contractor will be responsible for establishing pick-up disposal points for Naval Station, San Diego; Naval Air Station, North Island; Marine Corps Air Station, Miramar; and various other Government Installations West of the Mississippi. At a minimum, pick-up shall be monthly at each location listed in the Statement of Work (SOW). Contractor shall meet San Diego County APCD requirements. The resulting contract will require 48 hour delivery after receipt of order for all materials considered on the shelf items. Emergency orders shall be delivered within four (4) hours after receipt of order. Shipping shall be FOB Destination. The Government anticipates award of a Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity Requirements contract with Firm Fixed Pricing. Contract period of performance will consist of one (1) Base year and four (4) one year Options. It is anticipated that a formal Request for Proposal (RFP) document will be released within 45 days of this announcement. The Government will release only ELECTRONIC VERSIONS of the RFP.
