A -- CENTRAL MASINT ORGANIZATION CALL FOR SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY DEVELOPMENT PROPOSALS The Central MASINT Organization's (CMO) Technology Coordination Office (TCO) is conducting a Call for Proposals to government and service laboratories, product centers, intelligence centers, and any other government organizations that have ideas for technology development for MASINT. The TCO is announcing this in the CBD to ensure widest possible dissemination of this announcement. However, the TCO does not contract directly for RDT&E services, nor does it recommend specific contractors. For these reasons, contractors may not respond directly to the CMO or TCO. Only other government organizations may submit proposals, who will later perform or contract for the services if their proposal is selected. Any proposals submitted need to be RDT&E projects (ranging from basic research, 6.1, through advanced technology development, 6.3) that directly contribute to Measurements and Signatures Intelligence (MASINT) tasking, collection, processing, exploitation, or infrastructure. This RDT&E data callwill begin on 1 AUG 99 and close on 15 SEP 99.
