This is a simplified acquisition for SERVICES to provide all labor, material and equipment to REMOVE LEAD/BULLETS FROM IMPACT AREA, PISTOL RANGE, FACILITY 11200, MARINE CORPS LOGISTICS BASE, ALBANY, GA. The work consists of removing all earth up to 2-1/2 feet deep, sifting to remove all lead/bullets, and place soil back in place. All on-site personnel need to be forty (40) hours Hazwoper trained in accordance with 29 CFR 1910.120, Hazardous Waste Operations and Emergency Response. Copies of current training certificates shall be provided to the Government. The magnitude for this solicitation is between $25,000 and $100,000. Estimated duration of the contract is 45 days for completion. Requests for solicitation packages must be submitted in writing, either by mail, email or fax and must contain the solicitation number. A site visit is scheduled for 19 August 1999 at 1:30 PM. Prospective quoters are asked to meet at Bldg 5500, Marine Corps Logistics Base, Albany, GA. Quotes must be received by close of business on 31 AUGUST 1999. This acquisition is 100% set aside for small business. Standard Industry Code (SIC) 4953/$6.0 Million. It is noted that the original advertisement was inappropriately coded Z -- Maintenance, Repair or Alteration of Real Property and was solicited on an unrestricted basis.
