The Army requires a contract for the furnishing of all plant, labor, materials, equipment, and performing all work required in connection with installing HVAC system, Building 847, Hunter Army Airfield, Georgia. Work includes but is not necessarily restricted to: Installing 7-1/2 ton split system HVAC, including outdoor heat pump unit, indoor air-handling unit (AHU), refrigerant and condensate lines, and thermostat; installing air distribution system, including ductwork, diffussers, dampers, outside air intake louver, birdscreen, flexible connections, and duct smoke detector; providing thermal insulation for mechanical systems; providing concrete pads for equipment and vibration pads for air handling unit; providing opening, sleeves, and sealant for duct penetrations through building walls; performing electrical work, including installation of disconnect switch(s), power and control wiring, panel circuit breakers and other components indicated or required for the new equipment in accordance with the National Electrical Code; performing final testing, adjusting, and balancing (TAB). Performance time is 90 calendar days after receipt of the Notice to Proceed. SIC code for this project is 1711. Project is unrestricted, all responsible businesses may submit an offer. Magnitude of this project is between $25,000 and $100,000. There is no charge for the solicitation package.
