The U.S Army Special Operations Command intends to issue a solicitation for a firm-fixed-price contract with T&M and Cost reimbursement efforts to ITT to provide Contractor Logistics Support (CLS) for the ALQ-136A(V)2 pulse jammer system, High Power Remote Transmitter (HPRT, also known as the ALQ-211 LRU-2A). The effort includes depot support, on-site field service representative, threat reprogramming capability, and training for the MH-60K and 47E aircraft. Required performance is 1 January 2000 with 4 option years. The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302. The intended source is ITT Avionics, 100 Kingsland Road, Clifton, NJ. ITT possess engineering expertise and technical data to provide this support. Interested persons may identify themselves to the contracting officer. This is not a request for competitive proposals.
