Collello -- Phone (312)424-3161 The United States Postal Service (USPS), Great Lakes Area (GLA), requires approximately 308 Flat Feeder Sorters (Feeders). The Feeder is primarily intended to automate the flats in a sorting operation and shall be able to automatically singulate and insert flats for induction into existing FSM 881 Flat Sorting Equipment. The Feeder will be compact, portable and can be used anywhere flats singulation is needed. A prequalification package (162745-99-A-0276) is available from this office with a due date of 8/25/99. Suppliers will be scheduled to test their feeders at a facility in the USPS GLA from 8/30/99 through 9/3/99.
