The U.S. Army Communications-Electronics Command (CECOM) is planning to issue a Request for Proposal (RFP) for the acquisition of support receivers used in Signals Intelligence and Electronic Warfare Systems. This will be a sole source to Watkins-Johnson Company, Gaithersburg, MD for production of NSN: 5895-01-373-3495 and NSN: 5820-01-465-7101. It is intended to be a Direct Vendor Delivery (DVD) contract for the acquisition of the receivers on a firm fixed price basis and on a Time & Materials basis for repair. The contract will be for one (1) year with four (4) option years. The Firm Fixed Price/Time and Materials effort will be in support of all delivery orders to repair/improve and maintain those receivers. See Note 22.
