The Army National guard intends to negotiate a firm fixed price, sole source contract with Wulfsberg Electronics Division, Prescott AZ, to supply 4 each, Wulfsberg RT-5000 Flexcomm II AM/FM Transceivers and associated peripheral items for installation in US Army UH-60A Blackhawk Helicopters. This procurement is for supplies that the Government intends to acquire from one source of supply unders the authority of 41 USC 253 (c) 1. The intended systems must have airworthiness release issued by the US Army Aviatin and Missle Command, the Wulfsberg radios are the only known source to have such an airworthiness release issued. As the item is flight critical and the technical data available has not been determined adequate to support acquisitio via full and open competition only the source previously approved by the Government will be solicited.
