This is a COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION for a Commercial Item prepared in accordance with the Simplified Acquisition Procedures in FAR 13 and the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the ONLY solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation WILL NOT be issued. This solicitation is issued as a request for quotations (RFQ) under DAKF6199Q0147. This request for quotations and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisitions Circular 97-11. This action is Unrestricted, the Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) code is 3669 with a size of 750 employees. A firm-fixed contract is anticipated for two (2)line items. CLIN 0001, Quantity 4 each, EIKI Projectors, MDL: LC-X1UA (Powerhouse One Plus) to include brackets. Specifications required are: (1) Projects 1024 x 768 pixels, for real XGA/MAC-19 resolution. (2) 2100 ANSI Lumens at 85% uniformity with 300:1 contrast ratio. (3) Projects images up to 40' w'de (600"di"g) over distances up to 117'. (4) Displays higher resolutions up to 1280 x 1024 compressed or panned. (5) Accepts Composite, Component and S-Video Input. (6) 135 mHz dot clock for compatibility with most workstations. (7) Input/Output modules permit VGA, 5NBC and 13W3 configuration. (8) Power Lens Shift off sets the image both directions (up and down) by up to half the image height. (9) 3-Year Projector Warranty plus 6-Month Lamp Warranty. NOTE***Award will be based on Best Value to the Government. CLIN 0002, 1 Lump Sum, Installation which requires two (2) ceiling mounts stationary and two (2) ceiling mounts pivotable 90 degrees with the capability to lock at 0 degrees, 45 degrees and 90 degrees. The construction contractor will provide the projector outlet which shall consist of 4" square x 2 1/8" deep covered outlet box. Mount box using a bracket that attaches across ceiling grid, above ceiling at installation location will provide a six foot long 3-#12 MC Cable Equipment Whip Off of projector outlet. Projector Installer shall make final connection of whip to projector. The electrical contractor under this contract shall make the final power connection inside projector outlet box.
