Johnson, Phone: 301-227-7817 This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Requirement: Item 1, Colortrac 380GX Color Scanner to include Stand, Scan Manager Software, Adaptec SCSI Interface, Wright Design Software (Windows NT), minimum 1 year warranty w/ first 3-months on-site, Quantity 3. Item 2, Training and Telephone Support -- 8 hours of training for up to 6 people in Washington, DC metro area. 1 year of telephone support (not to exceed 60min/month). Prospective Offerors are requested to provide a quote for the requirement defined above. Partial quotes are not acceptable. Award will be to only one Offeror. Delivery of all items is F.O.B. Destination with one scanner to be installed by vendor at the Bethesda facility below. The remaining two scanners shall be delivered to the addresses below: NIMA, 4600 Sangamore Road, Bethesda, MD 20816-5003 or NIMA, 3200 South Second Street, St. Louis, MO 63118. Delivery is required no later than 20 August 1999 with earlier delivery preferable. This solicitation and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through FAC 97-12 and the current version of the DFARS as of the date of the synopsis. The following clauses apply to this solicitation: FAR 52.212-1, FAR 52.212-2 (evaluation is based on low price, technically acceptable), FAR 52.212-3 and DFARS 252.212-7000 (both to be provided upon request), FAR 52.212-4, FAR 52.212-5 and DFARS 252.212-7001 (appropriate clauses will be defined at time of award, IAW w/ the FAR and DFARS) and DFARS 252.204-7000 and 252.212-7004. These clauses are not applicable if items are ordered via GSA/Agency Schedule/Contract Vehicle (except DFARS 252.204-7000 and 252.212-7004). In this case, the Schedule/Contract Vehicle terms and conditions shall apply. Offeror will be ineligible for award if it is not registered in the CCR.
