Solicitation # F0470099Q7020 closing date have been extended to 8/10/99, 4:00pm local time, in order to provide offers an opportunity to review/analyze the questions and answers provided.. The following questions were submitted. Question 1: The industry standard measure of unit for termite treatments is in cubic feet if you are treating for drywood (above-ground) termites or linear feet if you are treating for subterranean (below-ground) termites. CLIN 00XAK calls for Termite Treatment for an area of 1,000 SQ.Ft. Is that treating for drywood or subterranean termites? Can the unit be clarified by amendment? Response: The standard measure of unit for termite treatments can be cubic feet, linear feet, or square feet. The unit of measure in solicitation stands correct as 1,000 Square Feet (SQ.Ft.). Question 2: On page 9 in the contract clauses, it states that the SCA wage determination will be 14.05/hour plus fringebenefits of 4.50/hour. In attachment 2, it shows a Wage Determination under the Service Contract Act and states that a pest controller shall be paid 11.48/hour plus fringe benefits of 1.39. Which is correct? Response: The figure provided in page 9 ($14.05 plus $4.50) are the equivalency rates of a Federal Government Employee.and are provided for informational purposes only.
