This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation number is F41622-99T0678 and is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-13. Line Item 0001 is to provide services for chemical warfare agents, maintenance of instruments and consultation on a sampling plan. Analysis will involve detection of chemical agents in miscellaneous samples taken from DoD facilities worldwide. Training will involve proper collection and handling of samples. Calibration of series 3000 miniCAMS will be preformed in the laboratory and field. Quantity 1: Unit: EA. Research labs must be CWA (Chemical Warfare Agent) certified. Period of performance is 1 year from the start date. FOB is destination. The provision at 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors-Commercial, applies to this acquisition. Offerors must include the Representations and Certifications found in FAR 52.212-3. The clause at FAR 52.212-4 applies.
