Readjustment counseling services to eligible veterans constitute social and psychological counseling to include individual, group, and family counseling, job and career counseling, and substance abuse counseling. Offerors will be expected to have the capability directly or through arrangements to provide physical assessments, medical treatment or therapy. Service providers submitting offers in response to this request for proposal must be physically located in the county or counties of LASALLE, HENRY, BUREAU, STARK, MARSHALL, KENDALL, GRUNDY, LIVINGSTON, or WILL. Contract period shall begin approximately October 1, 1999 through September 30, 2000, with four option years through September 30, 2004. Bidding documents will be available after August 12, 1999. Requests for bidding documents may be faxed to the contracting officer listed in this announcement using FAX #217-431-6553. This is an unrestricted procurement (not set-aside for small business). Standard Industrial Code 8322 applies to this procurement. A firm is considered small if its average annual receipts for the preceding three years do not exceed $5.0 million.
