Division of Program Development, Special Populations, and Projects plans to award a sole source simplified acquisition to Larke Huang, Ph.D., Senior Policy Associate the National Technical Assistance Center for Children's Mental Health at the Georgetown University Child Development Center, Washington, D.C. The contractor has extensive experience in designing mental health services innovations for AAPI and other culturally diverse populations. The contractor shall assess current models on preventing/reducing violence among youth, convene a focus group, collect relevant demographic information for data collection. The contractor shall also train focus group leaders, compile and analyze data, prepare and submit a final report. The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the government intends to solicit and negotiate with only onesource under authority of FAR 6.302-1. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. No solicitation will be issued. A determination by the government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
