65 -- NOTICE OF INTENT TO NEGOTIATE A SOLE SOURCE PURCHASE ORDER The VA Medical Center, Fayetteville, AR, intends to negotiate & award a sole source purchase order under the Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP) with Schick Technologies, Inc., Long Island City, New York, for a CDR Discovery X-Ray Unit, sensor, software, boards, printer, server & training. A determination not to compete this proposd contract has been made. This system, being digital, eliminates the need for film and chemicals. Evaluations show this system is compatible with local LAN and will tie into hospital PC workstations, integrating well with the paperless medical record. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR QUOTATION.
