Z -- TEN MILE TRAIL #415 RECONSTRUCTION SOL RFQ R1-17-99-36 DUE 091399 POC Contracting 208 983-1950 Ext 4174 Ten Mile Trail #415 Reconstruction. Project is located on the Red River Ranger District, Idaho County, Idaho; Location of Project: From Grangeville, Idaho on SH #13 take FH #17 east (Mt. Idaho Grade) (paved) to SH #14 @ MP 9.0, then east on Highway 14 (paved) to MP (35.25) and then right on Santiam/Sourdough Road #492; follow FRD #492 (unpaved gravel) south for approximately 6.0 miles, continue right on road #492 (unimproved) to MP 12.0 at the Trailhead for Ten Mile Trail #415; follow Trail #415 approximately 6.8 miles to the beginning of project. Project consists of 3.0 miles of wilderness trail including 16,000 L.F. clearing, 736 L.F. tread reconstruction, 100 treated waterbars, 6 rock waterbars, 76 L.F. side and leadoff ditches, 45 square feet of rock retaining wall, 10 L.F. log barrier, switchback construction and 15 feet of turnpike; Work will also include 10.5 miles of trail opening from trailhead on Road 492 to junction with Hump Trail #313.
