An overhead crane will be disigned for the lifting of large aircraft parts and support equipment into and out of packing crates. The crane will be installed in Bldg 351 at the Defense Distribution Depot Warner Robins (DDWG), Warner Robins, GA. Major components of the crane will be a self-standing runway, a 5-ton top running crane with two (2) independent noists and slings. The crane shall be designed to meet CMAA Class "C" service. A registered professional engineer shall approve the design of the foundation and supporting runway. Scope-The Contractor will be required to design, build and install the self-standing runway, foundations, electrification, 5-ton crane and hoists. In addition, the Contractor will be responsible for testing of the crane system and training of government operational and maintenance personnel. This acquisition is unrestricted.
