This is a COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION for COMMERCIAL ITEMS prepared in accordance with the format in the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice.The U.S. Army CECOM intends to make this procurement on a non-competitive, negotiated basis with GTE GOVERNMENT SYSTEMS CORP, Cage Code: 67032, The cognizant Engineering Activity defines the acquisition as an item which they do not have in Govt possession sufficient, accurate or legible data to purchase this part from other than current sources. Therefore, a competitive acquisition cannot be accomplished. However, all responsible sources may submit a Quote which shall be considered by the Agency. This Announcement constitutes the only Solicitation; Proposals are being requested and a written Solicitation will not be issued.
