This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared
in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented
with additional information included in this notice. This announcement
constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and
a written solicitation will not be issued. SOLICITATION NUMBER:
F6460599Q0516. This solicitation is being issued as a request for
quotations (RFQ). The solicitation document, and incorporated
provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition
Circular 97-09. Standard Industrial Classification code: 3949. Size
Standard: 500 employees. This acquisition is open to responsible
businesses of any size. This RFQ contains one (1) contract line item.
(CLIN): CLIN 0001 Provide playground equipment and installation at
building 2028, Hickam AFB, HI. The contractor shall furnish playground
equipment as follows: a) Play Station: Little Tykes Commercial Play
Systems, Part Number QT76119 or equal. b) Rubberized Flooring: Little
Tykes Commercial Play Systems 60-mm green kid tile with beveled edges
or equal. c) Park Bench: Little Tykes Commercial Play Systems Part
Number 348-6NV or equal d) Picnic Table: Little Tykes Commercial Play
Systems Part Number 238-8NV or equal. e) Fencing: A vinyl type fence
shall surround the area around the existing concrete pad, flooring and
equipment to prevent entry into the area outside of the designated
play area and to shield the existing landscaping and sprinkler system
controls. f) All equipment must match the current decor using the
colors of tan and green g) Special requirements: Removal of large rocks
and existing trees/landscaping must be accomplished for installation.
The contractor will square off an existing concrete pad and make level
prior to installation of flooring. All equipment must be installed in
an area of approximately 43_ x 20_. All equipment shall meet federal,
state, and local safety standards. h) The contractor is responsible
for all costs associated with the equipment to include delivery,
installation and applicable taxes. i) The equipment listed above are
stated as the minimums acceptable. Equals or better are acceptable.
Multiple configurations and alternative proposals are invited. If
proposing an equal item, the vendor must provide specifications.
Standard commercial warranty shall apply. Period of Performance: The
vendor shall submit a timeline detailing the number of days to complete
manufacture, delivery, and installation with any proposal. A firm fixed
price purchase order is contemplated for any resultant award.
PROVISIONS AND CLAUSES: The provision at 52.212-1, Instruction to
Offerors-Commercial Items, applies without addenda. The provision at
52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications Commercial Items,
applies without addenda. The clause at 52.212-4, Contract Terms and
Conditions Commercial Items, applies without addenda. The clauses at
52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes
or Executive Orders-Commercial Items, applies and incorporate the
following additional clauses: 52.222-26; 52.222-35; 52.222-36; and
52.222-37. The DFARS clauses at 252.212-7001, Contract Terms and
Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders
Applicable to Defense Acquisitions of Commercial Items, applies without
incorporation and supplemental DFARS clauses. 252.225-7012 Preference
for Certain Domestic Commodities (JAN 1999); 252.243-7002 Requests for
Equitable Adjustments (MAR 1998); 52.203-6 Restrictions on
Subcontractor Sales to the Government (JUL 1995). 52.222-41, Service
Contract Act of 1965, as Amended (MAY 1989). The following wage rate is
applicable to all service work: Wage Determination No. 94-2153, Rev.

sufficient literature to describe quoted items. Quotes must include
prices for CLIN0001. BASIS OF AWARD: A firm fixed price purchase order
will be issued based upon the quote determined to provide the best
value, considering technical characteristics, price and past
performance, that does not exceed as a maximum ceiling price of
$38,500.00. All vendors quoting shall submit as a minimum three
references on similar projects. These references shall include a point
of contact, phone number, company name and type of service or
equipment provided. SITE VISIT: A site visit shall be held at Building
2028, Hickam AFB, HI on Thursday 13, August at 9:00 AM, HST. Any
contractors planning to attend must contact the below listed to ensure
access to the installation. Failure to appear at the site visit prior
to submission of the quote does not alleviate the contractor from any
of the above listed responsibilities. DUE DATE: Quotes are to be
submitted to 15 CONS/LGCB, 90 G Street, Hickam AFB, HI 96853-5230, no
